उडती Generation

You will always want more !!

You might have guessed it by now. Yes, I am talking about the ‘addictive’ and the ‘seductive’ money.

If money was freely available like oxygen and we needed it just enough to live your life, just like oxygen, how would have been our life? We would have had an organ, just like lungs, which would extracted the money from the universe and we would not need to do anything different to buy the things we always wanted to and will cherish.

Alas, this is not the situation. We have to earn it – to fulfill our need and to satisfy our greed. My needs have changed from a chocolate and couple of toys in childhood to insurance policies and a couple of houses. I have changed from being angry at my father for saving for the future to a father who focuses on saving for the future.

In today’s world, ‘money’ is a drug which gives the kick or the high of ‘growth’. We have become synonymous with what I can term as the ‘उडती generation’! We live and believe in “Break the rules, break the barriers, take the risks, go for the impossible, dream big, chase your passion …..”

All of this for what? Kudos to the ‘growth’ and thanks to the ‘money’…

I am part of this generation and am no different than most of this generation … I am not questioning the logic and the reasoning but I want to know, define and decide - “Just how much is enough??”
